Q: How much does a subscription cost?

A: As little as 39,00$ CAD per year but there is several packages offering various functionalties which will help to suit your real needs.

Q: Does the system include an anti-virus?
|
|
A: Yes. The MAXYGO system uses anti-virus incoming and outgoing.
|

Q: Do you protect emails against WebBugs?
|
|
R: Yes. Contrary to several of major email addresses & service providers, we protect you against WebBugs (spy-images) and we still searching new "spammers" tricks and protect you from those.

Q: Is the system available in several languages?
|
|
A: Yes. The currently available languages are French and English.
|

Q: Does the system parse unsolicited emails (spam)?
|
|
A: Yes. The MAXYGO system protects you in two distinct ways. The incoming emails are checked and verified by comparison with a list of "spammers" emails addresses and contents automatically on their arrival unless you did not disable the functionality which is present by default. This list contains more than 250000 variables. The second check method is made with a list of banned emails which you can define yourself with your account. However, the quantity of emails available may vary according to the package you have chosen at the time of your subscription.

Q: What do you allow as storage capacity for my emails?
|
|
A: Unlike several ISP and ESP, the MAXYGO system allow dependently of the chosen package, five (5) to ten (10) megabytes of disk space. It is possible, optionally, to increase this disk space and this practice is applicable individually.

Q: Can I get my messages with my email software on my computer?
|
|
A: Not. It is not currently allowed to get your messages elsewhere than via MAXYGO website or by your cellphone (WAP) except for the Platinum plan which will benefit from a specific access with our software named MAXYGO XMail PRO available soon.

Q: Do I get more than 1000 Kb for my messages attachments?
|
|
A: Yes. The basic package allow 3000 Kb and the most advantageous package we offer sets the limit to 5000 Kb per message. This is more than five (5) times than several of our major competitors.

Q: May I configure more than one POP3 account in your system?
|
|
A: Yes. The quantity of different configurable accounts is three (3) or four (4) according to the package you choose.
|

Q: Do I get a personal address with MAXYGO?
|
|
A: Yes. You can benefit from a personal address like yourname@maxygo.net if you choose the Gold or Platinum package. This address allow a storage of twenty (20) megabytes for your incoming messages. You can get this service optionally (additional fees may apply) on the other offered packages.

Q: Is an address book available?
|
|
A: Yes. You can enter the addresses of your friends and/or other contacts easily and manage them with a few mouse clicks.
